And one thing’s for sure, you can’t kill a vampire by burying it
alive (or dead, technically speaking). On June 10, get ready for the much awaited season
5 of True Blood with more characters, more sucking (of blood), more
revelations, more blood and more Sookie Stackhouse and Jessica body shots (woot woot!).
Wait, what? Tara is not around? Oh right she got shot in the
head, still alive perhaps? Rev. Steve Newlin got fangs, Lafayette got beef with
Sookie, the Authority looks like a guy who stepped out of the Mad Men, Russell
Edgington is back with a vengeance, Jessica and Jason Stackhouse are getting things heated up, and whole lot of surprises coming our way.
Clear your schedule and gather your bannermen! It’s the Game of Thrones Season 2 finale this Sunday June 3,
and we just can’t wait! Check out the preview below:
“Three great men — a king, a priest and a rich man.
Between them stands a common sellsword; each great man bids the
sellsword kill the other two. Who lives? Who dies? Power resides where
men believe it resides. It’s a trick, a shadow on the wall and a very
small man can cast a very large shadow."
Starting April 1, Game of Thrones is back for its 2nd season based on George R.R. Martin’s A Clash of Kings. We were all stunned how amazing HBO’s Game of Thrones turned out and were even caught off guard with the events that happened towards the end of the 1st season.
Here’s a quick recap of season 1 and where we left off :
King Robert Baratheon was killed in a hunting accident,
Lord Eddard Stark’s head is sitting on a stick thanks to Joffrey Baratheon,
Jaime Lannister is still being held prisoner by Catelyn Tully and the “King of the North” Robb Stark,
Jon Snow and the Night's Watch are heading beyond the Wall,
Arya Stark is off to an adventure outside the castle walls,
Daenerys Targaryen is now a mother to 3 handsome looking baby dragons, and
Tyrion Lannister is still a 4ft. imp.
So the Song of Fire and Ice continues with more conspiring, vengeance, blood, politics, betrayal and dragons. Check out HBO’s Game of Thrones Season 2 hair-raising trailer of below.
Yes you’ve seen it. Yes you’ve heard it and you might already been hooked to it. PLDT myDSL’s latest commercial shows a mom watching a Youtube
video over and over again increasing the hits. The video is a boy
singing a song for his crush in class and I have to say, this kid is a
terrible (not trying to be mean, just telling the truth) terrible
singer. Turns out he was the son of the mom and was proud of himself
when he told his mom he got 100 hits for his Youtube video.
Apparently that video of the “Anna Banana Song” does exist on Youtube and is currently (as of this writing) at 451,690 hits! The boy's head must be exploding by now, literally! His name is Derek S. Lorenzo,
not sure if it is his real name though, and he really went all out to
show how he feels for this hot fried banana named Anna. Smooth moves,
dope rap skills and thoughtful lyrics... Anna will fall for you kid.
Check out his video and lyrics (typed as is) below:
rap:
A-nna ba-nana you're my biggest crush
I don't mean overweight
Means my heart turns to mush.
A-nna ba-nana
You're in my dreams.
When I'm sleeping in class, your all I seen
A-nna ba-nana
Banana babe, I like you a lot.
A-nna ba-nana
Like a cute little plant in a big red pot
chorus:
Anna Banana!
I love you a bunch.
I'll dance like your monkey if we go for lunch
Anna Banana!
Baby, I love you a lot!!
Not once, not twice, not thrice, it's more than four
You're a fried banana baby
Coz you are so hot!!
rap:
A-nna Banana!
Said the voices in my head
We go together like jam goes on bread
A-nna Banana!
I keep saying your name.
You are in my brain it's like I'm going insane.
Like the rain in Spain on a horse's mane.
Fly like a crane to escape the pain
and I ride the train, eat some grain
cootchie cootchie coo you got me smiling again!
chorus:
Anna Banana!
I love you a bunch.
I'll dance like your monkey if we go for lunch
Anna Banana! Baby
I love you a lot
Note once, not twice, not thrice it's more than four
You're a fried banana, baby!
Coz you are so hot!!!!!!!!!!
Do you ever wonder how the world works? Are we connected to each
other like dots? Is there someone looking after us? Is there such thing
as a coincidence? Does the Law of Attraction really work? Well we might
not see the connections, but a mute boy probably can.
Touch
is drama series that explores how we are all interconnected. Blending
science, spirituality and emotion, the series will follow seemingly
unrelated people all over the world whose lives affect each other in
ways seen and unseen, known and unknown.
Kiefer Sutherland
stars as Martin Bohm, a widower and single father, haunted by an
inability to connect to his emotionally challenged mute 11-year-old son,
Jake (David Mazouz). Martin learns that Jake possesses
an extraordinary gift—the ability to perceive the seemingly hidden
patterns that connects every life on the planet. As he puts the pieces
together, he will help people across the world connect as their lives
intersect according to the patterns Jake has foreseen.
I know the story is common and others have done this in movies and other series, but thanks to the evil-genius-of-a-mind Tim Kring (creator of the TV series Heroes), Touch gives you another level of an emotional roller coaster ride.
The pilot episode already aired last January 25, 2012 and got impressive reviews. Touch will be back on March 19 for their second episode and there is a reason why they chose that specific date, but you have to watch the pilot to find out.
Well... Sophia is pretty much dead already. But you already knew that
coming in to the final seconds of the episode. Finally Carol can stop
crying her eyes out from her pale grey face! And Daryl can go back to
his crazy redneck self, although I do like how he shouts Sophia's name
out. SOPPHHEEAAA!!!
After
the insane barn shoot out and the intense clash between the farmers and
the survivors, the question on everybody’s mind now is “Will Maggie and
Glenn break up?”
The wait is almost over and start counting down for the return of The Walking Dead Season 2 showing on February 12 (damn… that was a pretty long break!).
New thrills, new enemies and a whole lot of dead walking. Now that’s Something to Look 4ward to!
