In Action with the adizero Crazy Light 2

Who the hell would top off the 9.8 ounce adidas Crazy Light shoes? Well it was no other than adidas themselves. 

adidas recently launched their brand spanking new adizero Crazy Light 2 and my feet were lucky to be inside those bad boys and on court for some action!

With the adizero Crazy Light 2 weighing at only 9.5 ounces, I can surely say you will immediately feel light (even with a full stomach from the food and drinks adidas served). My feet were airy but properly secured all thanks to the new aerodynamic thin three-layer SPRINTWEB which gives players enhanced vertical and horizontal strength. The increased strength of the adizero Crazy Light 2 also comes from an enlarged asymmetrical SPRINTFRAME, allowing for maximum motion control. Overall, the shoe’s new geometry allows for maximum weight savings, energy return and motion control.

But before I can dish out some assists and weave my way to the basket, a mini-training camp was conducted by some of our PBA Legends. Big man Benjie Paras gave us some agility and footwork drills to test the durability and performance of the adizero Crazy Light 2.  After a couple of sprints and stretching, it was time to try these shoes in action with a little 5-on-5 game.

Coached by Ronnie Magsanoc and Ryan Gregorio, our teams got it going! The adizero Crazy Light 2 makes you quick (even my slowest teammate was quick!) agile and springy. Cutting corners and crossovers were so easy to do when you feel like gliding on air. And the best thing about the Crazy Light 2, you don’t easily get tired. Its like playing using your tsinelas, but well protected and beautifully designed. It was light done right! Adidas really knows what it takes to be a winner. And guys, the adizero Crazy Light 2 is a winner!
